With more than 31 years of experience and some of the most advanced diagnostic technology and instruments, Dr. Craig offers trusted emergency eye care treatment for serious eye pain and injuries during regular office hours. If an emergency medical condition exists which causes concern to your vision or eye health, you may contact Dr. Craig and request intervention.

Priority examinations can be scheduled for significant eye problems that represent a medical emergency. Cases of an emergency nature may include medical eye issues that causes concern to eye integrity or vision, as well as conditions of excruciating, unrelenting eye pain. If unsure, please contact us.

Family Eye Care Center accepts patient referrals for medical eye and vision emergencies from physicians, general urgent care centers, emergency medical care facilities, and other healthcare professionals. Dr. Craig provides Urgent eye care for patients in and around Randolph County (Elkins, Beverly, Mill Creek), Barbour County (Belington, Philippi), Tucker County (Parsons, Davis, Thomas), Upshur County (Buckhannon), and Pocahontas County (Snowshoe, Marlinton, Durbin), and beyond who require eye care. Patients facing serious and / or life-threatening Emergency Medical issues should go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
Dr. Craig Hyre, O.D. is qualified and equipped to provide professional eye-related medical care and treatment to address many types of eye and vision-related concerns and conditions of an urgent nature. Our facility houses an optometric eye care practice with regular office hours; however, Dr. Craig is providing professional Urgent Medical Eye Care for many types of eye injuries and conditions. During regular office hours, we may prioritize care for patients with urgent eye conditions.
